Google在本周三公布了其手机软件–Google地图行动版的最新功能：Google Latitude。这项新功能的发布，让使用智能手机的用户能够随时随地通过Google提供的地图上查询到家人或者朋友的位置。

　　Google Latitude这项新技术采用了全球定位系统（GPS）功能，让用户可以通过Google Maps来定位好友的位置。而用户的操作仅仅只需进入服务并且共享自己的位置。

　　Google在公司博客里介绍Google Latitude的新功能时说道：“这个功能的帮助在于，让你了解到你的朋友是否因为堵车没有及时回家，或是好友去了某个乡村度过美好的周末，或是在坏天气时，也能第一时间知道自己爱人乘坐的飞机是否平安降落。”

目前还没有中国大陆，但相信很快google就开发出中文版，咱们拭目以待。
